THIS IS A PRE-ORDER FOR THE 2nd EDITIONS. No matter what the automated checkout says about ordering time periods, it is a pre-order for Jan/Feb 2017.

Reading The Permaculture Student 1 will give anyone a sure foundation in what permaculture is within a few short sittings. It was originally designed for middle schoolers to be able to use on their own, so it's extra clear & easy!  Today it is being used by teachers in elementary schools, high schools, and homeschools as well as with students of all ages. It is a reference manual rather than a traditional textbook of units and assignments and so easier to read. Colorful, scientifically accurate, and engaging illustrations are found throughout their pages. Much of this textbook and workbook is inspired by the work of Geoff Lawton, Sepp Holzer, Bill Mollison, David Holmgren, Masanobu Fukuoka, & P.A. Yeomans.  It is designed such that anyone can setup their site safely and begin their education in permaculture based in science and with the consensus of experts, educators, and scientists.

The Permaculture Student 1 Workbook is a guide with recipes, formulas & diagrams to help anyone analyze, understand, and plan their own home site. Whether you need to make a topographic map, create a series of climate analogs, arrange the zones, or plot the sunpath or sun angles, this workbook will safely guide you and help you to stay on track. Not to be missed - this is where the knowledge you acquire in the textbook is applied.

These books have been reviewed, edited, & heartily approved of by over 500 scientists, permaculturists, educators, students of all ages & parents. Some of these would include Geoff Lawton, Rosemary Morrow, Dr. Elaine Ingham, Neal Spackman, Grant Schultz, PRI Australia, Common Sense Homesteading, Permies.com, Danial Lawton, Permies.com, Mike Oehler, Diana Leafe Christian, Permaculture Magazine UK & North America, & more!

"Books such as this pave the road that leads us in the direction of a brighter, more conscious, and more promising future."                             - Christina Mavaro, teacher/reviewer, Permaculture Magazine NA
